Digging for Diamonds

Your diamonds are not in far distant mountains or in yonder seas; they are in your own backyard, if you but dig for them.
-Russell H. Conwell

I find myself this new year, at a crossroads of my life like I've never known before. Rather lost in an "in between" place where listening to my heart and following where it leads, remembering how to dream again and believing I can create beauty and find diamonds in my backyard is where you'll find me. It seemed fitting to begin a blog to express my discoveries of the treasures I've forgotten to look for or even remembered exist. By revealing even to myself the nuggets of joy and peace and pleasure in my life, I hope to change the landscape of my mind and heart to one more infused with joy. I thank my Heavenly Father for all the people in my life who give me joy, inspiration and laughter and help me remember how sweet life can be.
My heart swells with gratitude for all of those who have touched my life and I hope to connect in more meaningful ways to all whose love has been the flow of my life.
